A wonderful new opportunity has arisen in one of the region''s major construction equipment manufacturers with operations in 16 counties.
The role of the Production Team Leader will be to oversee a team of over 25 skilled and semi-skilled operatives on the shop floor. You will lead the team of operatives to achieve their daily production targets whilst driving a strong focus on quality and health and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Confidently lead and motivate your production team
* Manage your team to achieve targets and results
* Monitor all progress and processes
* Maintain production quality standards, drive health and safety standards, excellent 5s housekeeping
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Experience with managing teams of 20+ skilled operatives
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience within an assembly manufacturing environment
* IOSH qualified
* Passion for continuous improvement and waste reduction
* Strong absence management skills
* Flexible with working hours- this role could move to a shift pattern
* Confident decision-maker and self-motivated
